Jalan Kali Besar Barat in West Jakarta, on the VOC is downtown Batavia, there is a building that was almost all red front. Red Store building name, now is still standing strong despite three centuries old. A number of governors general of the VOC never inhabit this building, which was then located in the middle of the walled city of Batavia.
Built in 1730 (18th century), once the residence Baron Gustaf von Imhoff (1705-1743). He was also used as:
Naval Academy (1743-1755), Guest House officials (1787-1808). Before World War II repaired by the Bank Voor Indie then based here.
