Diponegoro in the struggle against Dutch colonialism in the year 1825-1830.
Prince Diponegoro moved to Cave Selarong after his home in Tegalrejo attacked and burned by the Dutch.
Selarong cave is located about 14 km north of Yogyakarta, exactly in the district on display and overgrown hilltop lot guava trees which are characteristic of the object.
In some caves there Selarong centers that produce wooden handicraft statues, masks and others. Bantul District Government is developing the area as an object Selarong Cave agrotourism with klengkeng trees
