Kie Kololi Ceremony. According to the local language, Kololi Kie has the meaning "around the mountain." So this ceremony is a ritual around a mountain on the island of Ternate, which Gamalama. Gamalama an active volcano with an altitude of 1715 meters above sea level (asl), which became an icon of this clove-producing islands.
Kie Kololi Ceremony is usually held when there are natural phenomena which would mark the eruption of Mt Gamalama, which can disturb the peace of society Ternate. Kie Kololi Ceremony begins from the bridge of the empire (like ports), known by the name of Ali Dodoku Bridge. Prior to the sultan and his entourage boarded the royal princes of each boat, Imam Mosque, surnamed Sultan Ternate Jou Calm will read a prayer of salvation at this bridge.
