Tolire Lake,Halmahera,Indonesia

The lake is located at the foot of the mountain Gamalama, the highest volcano in NorthMaluku and in for a two parts, the lake Tolire Tolire large and small lakes. Proximity tothe two lakes are only about 200 meters. Lake Tolire most visited by tourists, withits shape like a giant pan of about 5 hectares with a depth of 50 meters. Local people say that in this lake there are treasures owned by the Sultanate of Ternate is concealed at the time of Portuguese occupation in the 15th century.
