One of the festivity in Aceh Jaya Community Lamno is kaurie beurat. Festivity is held in the holy month of Ramadan and lasts the night in the month of mid-Sha'ban. Night festivity takes place is known as beurat night. Cambodia was conducted by all members of society and place in a village led by teungku meunasah.
At this festivity the whole community to come to meunasah by bringing a field of (food packets consisting of rice and side dishes and placed in a large tray). Food is eaten along with other community members who were present at the time of execution kaurie beurat.
Beurat Night is an interpretation of the habits of the people of Aceh, where the Prophet Muhammad on the night in the middle of the month Sha'ban prayer Prophet perform circumcision which is known as the Mid-Sha'ban prayer (prayer mid Sha'ban). Because prayer is not part of the compulsory prayers, the Muslims who reside in various communities to try to interpret the meaning contained in these prayers.
According to public confidence Lamno that on the night of mid syaban God will determine the fate of a person (age, Rizki, and charitable deeds) for one year ahead. Therefore, through kaurie beurat each individual to pray to God that God will give the best to them.
