Goa Mary Kaliori artificial caves which are located on top of green hills in the village of Kaliori District Kalibagor, Banyumas. Is only 14 kilometers from Purwokerto city, this is the place of the Catholic faithful from around the world chanting prayers and praise through the intercession of Mary, mother of Jesus. Originally the location was bald ridge and dry until a priest from Oblat Mary Imaculata (OMI) to start greening movement. Together with the Catholic faithful around him, Goa Mary was built as a place of pilgrimage of peace, beautiful and soothing. Each month, a group of pilgrims from various parts of prayer here. In addition to cross the road routes that provide the opportunity to contemplate the 'Road Golgotha', there is also a garden to pray the Rosary called Life. The area was also included lodging houses with complete facilities, the Queen of Heaven Church, and nursing care of the elderly. Goa Maria Kaliori began construction on August 15, 1989 by laying the first stone by the Bishop of Purwokerto, Mgr. S Hardjosoemarto Paraguay MSC. His Holiness Pope John Paul II blessed the statue of the Virgin Mary and signed inscription in the high mass was held in Yogyakarta, October 10, 1989.
