Red shop,Jakarta,Indonesia

Red Shop.
Red Shop is located on West 11th Street Kalibesar, Jakarta, that. Red Store name first appeared when the building was used as a store by the Middle Kingdom in 1851. In the same building, hundreds of years ago, had lived governors general of the VOC .. Gustaff Willem Baron van Imhoff, governor-general, who built the building at around the year 1730. In the book The Red Shop Witness the glory of the Old Batavia Ciliwung River Edge, Thomas B Ataladjar mention, in addition to van Imhoff, the building had lived another governor-general. Among Jacob Mossel, Petrus Albertus van der Parra, and Reinier de Klerk. Not just a house, this building was once a maritime academy and lodging Heerenlogement. Architecture of this building style mentioned Indonesians, though really the influence of China is only the red color that dominates the outside of the building. The red color is not red Indonesians, but the red-brown that can not be directly associated with all that smells of China.
