Chicken church is a another name of GPIB Pniel which is located on Jl. H. Samanhudi 12, in the area of Pasar Baru, Central Jakarta. This churc was designed by Ed Cuypers and Hulswit. This church was built between 1913 and 1915 and first given name of New Church. Church Chicken nickname given because of the roof of the church is placed a guide that made the wind-shaped chicken. Architect Cuypers and Hulswit restoredit and blend with the style of Italian and Portuguese and expand so that it can accommodate up to 1500 people.
