Jatiluhur Reservoir is located in District Jatiluhur, Kabupaten Purwakarta (± 9 km from the city center Purwakarta). This dam was built in 1957 by French contractors origin, with the potential of the available water 12.9 billion m3 / year and is the first multipurpose reservoirs in Indonesia.
In Jatiluhur Reservoir, inserted 6 turbine units with 187 MW installed power production of electricity with an average of 1000 million kWh each year, is managed by PT. PLN (Persero).
Jatiluhur reservoir can be visited through the Toll Road Purbaleunyi (Purwakarta-Bandung-Cileunyi), exit at Toll Gate Jatiluhur.
