Upah Upah Ceremony for Akbar Tanjung, held by Mandailing citizen,sumatera,Indonesia

Community Mandailing Natal, North Sumatra, traditional ceremonies mengelar "Wages" for Akbar Tandjung. The event was intended to deliver congratulations on a doctorate in political science earned Akbar Tandjung. As well as to provide strength for Akbar Tandjung.

Akbar Tandjung is a national figure-tested and resilient. So God bless him by giving the opportunity to obtain the highest degree in the academic field as a doctorate in political science.

Also, congratulations to be given by indigenous leaders with the prayers of the Muslim scholars and the entire community is intended to give strength to the Akbar Tandjung. Which in his terms is Mandailing Tondi tu pamulak body (spirit returns to the body).

"May God give strength to his family and continue to fight. And we pray at one point he was given power by God and given the mandate to be determined better.

Ceremony Procession Wages

Ceremony Wages began when Akbar Tandjung and his entourage arrived at the home office for the Regent Mandailing Natal around 10:00 am. Once inside the yard, Akbar Tandjung was greeted by indigenous elders Mandailing Natal. After the hearing Akbar was covered by ulos cloth.
With the accompaniment of regents and the official of the local, Akbar walked to the main building. Along the road, dozens of wreaths and the public hundreds of scholars, students, and local government officials lined up to greet him. Shortly thereafter, Akbar out of the main building with a full traditional costume. The rate of the group had stopped with traditional dances offered by the local Education Office. After that, the group went straight to the altar platform.
