Ngaben

Ngaben is that cremation ceremony in Bali, especially by the Hindus, where Hindus are the majority religion in this Pura Thousand Islands. In the Panca Yadnya, the ceremony is included in Yadnya Pitra, the ceremony dedicated to the spiri tof ancestors. Ngaben ritual meaning in essence is to restore the spirit of ancestors (the dead) into place.
