Museum of RA. Kartini

Museum of RA. Kartini is located in the center of town, or rather in the north of the square of Jepara town. RA Kartini Museum including the types of public museums as well as historical tourism object managed by the Department of Education and Culture Jepara District Technical Office as designated by the Regional Government. RA Kartini Museum was established on March 30, 1975 in the reign of Regent Soewarno Djojomardowo, SH, while the opening is on April 21, 1977 by the Regent of KDH Level II Jepara, Soedikto.
The purpose of this museum was established to perpetuate the merits of RA Kartini's struggle with how to documenting, displaying, and visualizing historical objects brother's legacy and other cultural heritage items that are found in Jepara regency. Museum building was built in the area of 5210 m2 with building area of 890 m2 and consists of three buildings. When viewed from above, then the building is shaped like K, T, N, which stands for KARTINI.
The building is used for temporary N Rang Art Education And Cultural Jepara regency. The presentation of the collection is divided into four rooms as follows:
ROOM I
This room contains a collection of Kartini heritage objects and photographs during his surviving are: - a set of tables and chairs that guests pristine teak with carved motifs typical of ancient Javanese

ROOM II
In this space we will encounter objects or relics of the photos from his brother, Drs. RMP. Sosrokartono. People who helped fight the Indonesian independence movement as well as a motivator and incentive for the noble ideals of RA Kartini, 26 types of mastering the language and aptitude in the field of medicine by using the "White Water" as an intermediary medium. Room IV
In this space we can see a giant fish skeleton "Joko Tuo" 16 meters long and 2 meters wide with a weight of 6 tons.
