ROnggowarsito Museum,Central Java,Indonesia

Ronggowarsito Museum of Central Java, including the museum of Indonesia's largest province in terms of collection and the breadth of the building located at Jalan Abdul Rahman Saleh No. 1 Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia, right next to the roundabout Kalibanteng. Located near the Ahmad Yani airport in Semarang and only 4 km away from downtown to the west. Museum of Central Java development began in 1975. In 1983 a permanent showroom completed and opened to the public on 2 April 1983 date suggested by the Governor of Central Java at that time, Mr. Soepardjo Roestam. On July 5, 1989 Central Java Ronggowarsito Museum was officially opened by Minister of Education and Culture at the time, Mr. Professor. Dr. Fuad Hassan. Ronggowarsito name itself is taken from the name of a great poet of Surakarta, which is Ngabehi Ronggowarsito Raden (1802-1873 AD). One of the excellent work of the "Fiber Kalatidha" which predicted the crazy times, an era where rules and laws abused and neglected. Some excerpts from "Fiber Kalatidha" can be seen on the walls of the pavilion is carved in teak wood walls.
